Bloomberry bags four titles in 10th Asian Excellence Awards by Corporate Governance Asia

Bloomberry Resorts Corporation (Bloomberry) received four awards from Corporate Governance Asia’s 10th Asian Excellence Awards.

In the 10th iteration of the prestigious Asian Excellence Awards, Bloomberry received accolades for “Asia’s Best CSR” and “Best Investor Relations Company." Key personnel were also given individual awards. Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer Estella Tuason-Occena was hailed as “Asia’s Best CFO,” while Director for Investor Relations Jonas R. Ramos, CFA, was awarded Best Investor Relations Professional. Bloomberry’s Investor Relations team is comprised of Treasurer and CFO, Estella Tuason-Occena, VP for Business Development and Corporate Planning, Fritz Lacap, Director for Investor Relations, Jonas R. Ramos, CFA, and Investor Relations Officer, Robin Venturina.

The awards highlight Bloomberry’s commitment to creating value for society through good governance, timely and accurate investor communication, and making strategic community investments.

Bloomberry is proud of its Corporate Social Responsibility program which has adapted to support the country’s battle against the deadly corona virus disease. The Bloomberry Cultural Foundation, Inc. (BCFI), the corporate social responsibility arm under Bloomberry subsidiary Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels, Inc. (BRHI), has been deploying its resources toward procuring and donating medical supplies and personal protective equipment, retrofitting of spaces to become treatment facilities, and distributing relief goods and supplies. More recently, BCFI funded the construction of the 600-bed Solaire-PAGCOR Mega Quarantine Facility which was turned over to the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) last month. The facility was completed in cooperation with the Razon Group through Prime Metro BMD Corporation.

According to Corporate Governance Asia’s website, the Asian Excellence Awards was designed to recognize the achievements and excellence in management acumen, financial performance, corporate social responsibility, environmental practices and investor relations. Since its inception in 2011, it has bestowed accolades on the Best CEO, Best CFO, Best Corporate Social Responsibility, Best Environmental Practices, Best Investor Relations, Best Investor Relations Professionals and Best Financial Public Relations Companies.
