Jeju Sun Hotel retains 5-star rating

Jeju Sun Hotel has been designated as a 5-star hotel in its latest hotel rating audit. The audit was conducted by the Jeju Tourism Association to comprehensively evaluate the quality of facilities and service levels. The rating was conducted not only as an on-site inspection, but also through mystery shoppers staying at the hotel to experience the overall offering.

Jeju Sun Hotel joins 16 other 5-star hotels on Jeju Island.

The hotel, which had previously been operating as a 5-star hotel, exerted full efforts to prepare for the same audit, the last one being in 2015. Its parent company Bloomberry Resorts Corporation (Bloomberry) invested about 20 billion won for renovation works from late 2018 to 2019. However, due to the pandemic that immediately followed, it was forced to suspend its operations for about two and a half years until September 2022. Despite the prolonged closure, the hotel reopened in October last year with the support of Bloomberry in the Philippines and the South Korean government, and with the combined efforts of all employees to maintain its facilities and service quality in the best possible condition. Since then, the hotel has been receiving high customer satisfaction scores from various booking platforms, including online travel agencies. And recently, all hotel's food and beverage outlets (six in total) were designated as 'very good' food and beverage establishments, which means that the hotel has already been certified as a 5-star class hotel in terms of hygiene and cleanliness.

"The hotel rating result is an important indicator of our guests' satisfaction, we will continue to do our best to satisfy our patrons," said Jeju Sun Hotel management.
